Malampusong gipahigayon ang ika-2 Dabaonon Research and Development Regional Congress sa Tagum City niadtong Agosto 14, diin 38 ka grupo sa mga estudyante ang nagpresentar og mga research nga naglangkob sa gender equality, disability, ug social inclusion alang sa malungtarong kalamboan sa Davao Region.
Gipunting sa ilang mga pagtuon ang isyu sa diskriminasyon batok sa mga HIV-positive, peligro sa pagkawala sa lumadnong pinulongan, reintegration program para sa juvenile offenders, rape victim blaming attitudes, ug dili patas nga ayuda distribution. “We are talking about initiatives of DOST to promote inclusive development. So far, what I've been doing was basic research... not only apply research but also extension. So that is, I think that is the culmination of science engineering technology innovation in order to uplift the lives of our stakeholders,” matud ni Dr. Alim.
